Thursday, September 7

Freddies Beach Bar will host our appreciation show for the ICWDC members and friends. Local awards will be given and ICWDC Members of the Year will be announced.

Join the ICWDC for a new addition to Coronation weekend. You’re invited to join us for the Mr Nude DC Crew Club Pageant. Entry fee covers one time membership and entry to the Crew Club, where contestants will take it off to win. Due to applicable law, all in attendance must be 21 year of age and obey all club rules and regulations. *** Note this event is sponsored & hosted by the Crew Club. They have generously agreed to donate all proceeds from the event to the ICWDC. We thank them for their support.

The Host Hotel’s renowned Fire and Sage Restaurant and Lounge, will be site of the kick off party for the weekend’s festivities. We invite you to join us as we welcome Court Members from across North America to Coronation Weekend in DC

Two events in one! We board our chartered motor coaches and travel to some of DC’s best Nightlife. The first stop will feature our Out of Town Show, which will showcase the amazing talent of the Imperial Court System. Performance order will be: Out of Town Reigning Monarchs & Reigning ICP’s, Past Monarchs and others as time allows. Music will be accepted in Hospitality beginning Thursday @ 2 pm and ending @ 6 pm on Friday. Your ticket includes transportation and admission to all bars on the Bar Tour.

Our gracious hosts for the Out of Town Show shall be The Imperial Sovereign Court of all CT,  held at stop number one Cobalt Nightclub.  Stop two, the evening culminates in the beef buffet you have all been waiting for as we end the evening with the men of Secrets and the ladies of Ziegfelds.

The main event “A Journey to the Scottish Highlands“, the celebration of the completion of our Reign V and the stepping down of Empress Cookie Dennis B Childs Von Shigglesworth. The evening will end with the crowning of our Reign VI Monarchs. This will be an amazing display of pageantry, you will be talking about for weeks.

Please keep in mind that for the comfort of all of our coronation guests we ask that all attendees be appropriately attired for a formal evening in the Nations Capital.  No confetti or coronation fliers will be allowed in the ballroom on Saturday night.  Please feel free to place your coronation/event fliers in our hospitality suite and on the Victory Brunch Tables on Sunday morning.

This is not your typical brunch by any means! Enjoy what Queen Mother Nicole referred to as “the best brunch on the Court Circuit” with free flowing mimosas and endless food choices including Eggs Benedict, prime rib, steamed shrimp, smoked salmon… the list goes on and on. Then finish off with a trip to the incredible dessert station and maybe one more of those great mimosas.

Victory Show 3 – 6 pm……………………………no charge

Join us for the party to end all parties at Green Lantern. This wild and crazy event will include a fundraiser for the ICWDC Monarch Promotional Fund and oh yes a few more beefy dancers.

Silent Auction

Each year, one of the prominent elements of the Gala of the Americas is the Silent Auction. Donations from corporations, hotels, dinner at prominent restaurants, works of art, as well as personal items from celebrities and entertainers, all make for a tempting array of auction items.

We ask that items have a retail value of at least $200, otherwise be as creative as you please. If you are interested in donating for the Silent Auction, please reach out to Connie Emery-Walker.

Underwriting Partnerships

Presenting Sponsor $35,000

As an underwriting sponsor of Gala of the Americas, the evening will be named in your company’s honor. All mentions in advertising, promotion, all printed and digital matter and the script will state: “[Your Company Name or Logo], the Monarchs and the Imperial Court of Washington, DC present Gala of the Americas”

You will also receive:

  • Exclusive – Premiere logo placement in all promotional advertising, invitations, Website and red carpet backdrop for all functions this year.

As an underwriting sponsor of the event’s decor and stage set, the Court is prepared to name the stage for the evening in your company’s honor. All mentions in signage, evening program, and script will refer to the “[Your Company Name] Theater Royale”

As an underwriting sponsor of the event’s printing of the Gala’s printed Coronation program, the Court will add the inscription “Commemorative Program made possible by the generous contribution of [Your Company Logo]” on the title page.

All prices are based upon camera-ready/electronic advertisements supplied by the advertiser. Ads must be a minimum of 300 dpi. If we are to design your ad(s) for you, an additional fee will be added based on a quote by our in-house designer. All advertising not meeting the printer’s standards may be reset, reorganized or rejected. All advertising is subject to approval of the publisher.

All fees and payments are due with the delivery of advertisement copy, or by space deadline, whichever comes first. The publisher shall reimburse the full cost of any advertisement that is not published due to publisher’s error. Cancellation or changes must be in writing and may not be made by the advertiser after space deadlines. Position of advertising is at the discretion of the publisher. The advertiser is responsible for claims and facts presented for publication and assume full responsibility for false information.

Protocol

Submission of electronic protocol is strongly encouraged and can be sent in advance to Protocol .

Protocol will also be open briefly on Saturday, September 9 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm ONLY. Please email it in early, using the above link.

The Imperial Court of Washington DC adheres to the one walk rule with your highest ranking title.  Titles bestowed by Queen Mother of the Americas, Nicole the Great and Jose I, the Widow Norton will be allowed.  Titles given by the ICWDC will also be allowed.

All other titles will be red-lined as will affiliations with houses and societies.

There will be no greetings, no regrets or ball announcements.  Personal titles (such as the Purple Passion Emperor) will be limited to monarchs only.  Please note, NO dynastic names will be allowed. We ask that you use the name that you are customarily introduced with at your own court functions. If you have more than two last names, pick your two favorites. 🙂

The Imperial Court of Washington DC reserves the right to edit protocol as necessary and the final decision is that of our Minister of Protocol Phoenix Jewel.  He has a big red pen and knows how to use it.
