The Official Election of Monarchs for Reign IX

On behalf of Their Majesties, The Board of Directors, and The College of Monarchs: We have unanimously agreed to suspend all ICWDC events indefinitely. At this time, Czar Ball has been suspended.

The health and safety of our members and the community was the heart of this decision.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 outbreak and will make updates as needed. We will continue to provide updates as to monarch elections and how to cast your virtual vote.

The Imperial Court of Washington, DC’s Czar Ball is a State-Event which culminates in the election of our Monarchs for Reign IX who will be crowned at the “Gala of the Americas” on September 12, 2020. Funds raised during this event will benefit Side by Side and Diversity Richmond.

Voting for our next reigning Monarchs is open to any ICWDC member in good-standing or any individual who is: 1) at least 18 years of age and 2) have a photo ID designating that they reside in the Realm of the Imperial Court of Washington. DC.  Candidates for Monarch IX positions will be announced at the “Candidate Announcement Show”.

Since this is a State-Event, members from other Courts are encouraged to attend and walk Protocol.

Submission of electronic protocol is required and should be e-mailed to Protocol.
The deadline for submitting electronic versions of Protocol is June 13, 2020.

The Imperial Court of Washington DC adheres to the one walk rule with your highest ranking title.
Titles bestowed by Queen Mother of the Americas, Nicole the Great and Jose I, the Widow Norton will not be included.

All other titles will be red-lined as will affiliations with houses and societies.

There will be no greetings, no regrets or ball announcements.  Personal titles (such as the Purple Passion Emperor) will be limited to reigning monarchs only.  Please note, NO dynastic names will be allowed. We ask that you use the name that you are customarily introduced with at your own court functions.
If you have more than two last names, pick your two favorites. 🙂

The Imperial Court of Washington DC reserves the right to edit protocol as necessary and the final decision is that of our Minister of Protocol.
